Privacy Policy

This policy explains what WireCom collects, why it is used, who processes it, and how you can control or delete it.

Effective 5 September 2026 · Last updated 5 September 2026

1. Who we are

WireCom provides electrical CAD, panel-design, simulation, device-library and academy services through our website and installed applications. Privacy requests can be made through our account-deletion page or the public support number shown below.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, optional phone number, country, governorate and profile photo.
  • Authentication data: password credentials managed by Supabase Auth, sign-in status and Google account identifiers when you choose Google sign-in. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Subscription and security data: plan, access dates, account status, registered device identifier, device name, platform, app version and security/audit events.
  • Your content: electrical projects, project versions, templates, custom device packages, academy courses, lessons, tasks, submissions, discussions, announcements, progress and certificates.
  • Technical data: necessary request logs, IP-derived security/rate-limit information and error information needed to operate and protect the service.

The app does not include advertising SDKs or third-party behavioural analytics SDKs.

3. How we use data

We use data to create and secure accounts, provide cloud sync and offline licensing, operate academy and collaboration features, restore projects, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, provide support and comply with applicable law.

4. Where data is processed

We use Supabase for authentication, database and file storage and Vercel for website and API hosting. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in or view embedded YouTube content. WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram receive information only when you deliberately open those external services. Their own privacy policies apply.

5. Sharing and sale

We share data only with service providers needed to deliver and secure WireCom, academy administrators who manage a course you join, or authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising.

6. Local and offline data

Installed applications can keep projects, preferences and a short-lived signed access lease on your device so your work remains available during an outage. Sensitive session material is stored using the operating system's secure storage where supported. Files kept only on your device remain under your control and can be removed by deleting them or uninstalling the app.

7. Retention and deletion

Account and cloud content are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, the account and associated cloud records are permanently deleted, subject to limited retention required for fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution or backups that expire on their normal schedule.

Delete your account or read the deletion instructions.

8. Security

We use encrypted HTTPS transport, row-level database access controls, server-side authorization, restricted service credentials, rate limiting, signed offline leases and platform-secure credential storage. No system is completely secure, so keep your password and signing devices protected.

9. Your choices and rights

You may view and correct profile information, export project files, sign out registered devices, or delete your account. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to or receive a copy of personal information. Use the support contact to exercise a right.

10. Children

WireCom is a professional and educational product and is not directed to children under 13. A school or academy using the service with younger learners must obtain required guardian consent and follow its local education and privacy laws.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
